May all sentient beings be at peace, may no one suffer from illness, May all see what is auspicious, may no one suffer. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad (1.4.14)

VIRAT's Wellbeing and Welfare domain conducts multidisciplinary research to advance knowledge in foundational areas of welfare and holistic wellbeing, investigating the determinants of human development. This encompasses the exploration of concepts such as resilience, quality of life indices, happiness, health, indigenous healing practices, socio-economic support mechanisms, community cohesion, and comprehensive health outcomes that collectively contribute to an enriched life.
